Basic Grey ‘Sultry’ Collection

Basic Grey ‘Sultry' range is quite girly with a lot of pinks and greens and swirls and flowers.

There are a couple of designs that could be ‘grunged up’ a little or toned down with some distress inks or something similar to make it fit for a more masculine page as well but on the whole, it’s probably more suitable for feminine designs.

Basic Grey ‘Sultry’ Collection Supplies

As always, at basic grey they have a great range of co-ordinating scrapbook supplies for the range.

The items I have are a pack of buttons with six colours picked from the papers and a range of buttons from tiny to medium in each of those colours.

A set of glazed brads are also available with 12 medium brads and 12 regular sized brads in the one packet. The larger brads each take a design element from the papers whilst the small ones each take a plain colour.

Lastly was a set of ‘chip stickers’ which are made from a good solid cardstock and take their colours and designs from the papers but also include words, arrows, some journaling spots, and stars.

The really great thing about these is that they are adhesive on the back so there’s no fiddling about with glue to get them onto your page.

There was also a sheet of alphabet stickers in pink and limey-green, and some die cut shapes. Again, also adhesive backed making things easier.

Basic Grey’s pattern paper is always hugely popular and is a good quality, heavy paper that is nice to handle and work with, and easy to cut.

However, with many other manufacturers doing two-sided papers nowadays, I was surprised to see that it still remains single design.
